The awards publicly recognise the innovation and best practices carried out by companies in the occupational risk prevention sector, that have developed actions aimed at their clients and/or associates in the area of Catalonia, contributing to the improvement of occupational health and safety.

The event organised by Foment del Treball, through its Occupational Risk Prevention Professional Forum, is supported by the Department of Enterprise and Employment of the Government of Catalonia.

The winners of the presentation ceremony held yesterday, 23 November, in the main room of the Ministry of Employment were: FREMAP Mutual Society Collaborating with the Social Security Institute no. 61, Instituto de Formación Práctica de Riesgos Laborales (IFPRL), Prevencontrol y SGS. (Institute for Practical Training of Occupational Risks (IFPRL), PrevenControl and HMS).

The Jury awarded the award in the "MANAGEMENT" category to FREMAP "for the development of a data management tool linked to the health indicators of workers, both from the point of view of occupational contingency and common contingency and the business costs associated with them. The creation of the information space called 'the health observatory' is particularly valued, which researches and monitors workers' health through Big Data analysis and periodically publishes specific studies on the impact and the associated problems in different sectors, pathologies, communities, etc."
