At the 2nd Ibero-American Summit "Insurance in the 2030 Agenda," FREMAP receives recognition for applying the SDG
MADRID (17/11/2022)
FREMAP received this recognition for its initiative "Career Retraining", whose aim is to provide training courses to people who have sustained a work-related accident and/or illness, so they can rejoin the labour market. By training the person in a profession that he/she has not yet done, he/she is equipped with skills and abilities that go beyond academic training.
The results of this programme show that 82.03% of the active population that took part in this initiative found employment after completing a course.
The Health and well-being (3), Quality education (4), Decent work and economic growth (8) and Reduced inequalities (10) SDG are directly related to this initiative.
Seguros Bolívar, Rio Uruguay Seguros and DKV Seguros Médicos also received an award for their projects to implement the Sustainable Development Goals in their strategies.
The Insurance Alliance was created with the aim of unifying efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out by the UN in the 2030 Agenda in the field of insurance.
Mr Jorge Suxo, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the #IICumbredelSeguro (2nd Insurance Summit), presented the International Recognition of #LaAlianzadelSeguro (The Insurance Alliance) 2021 to Mr Josu Esarte, Managing Director of FREMAP.
