The Regional Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (IRSST) is holding its Occupational Risk Prevention Congress on 16 and 17 November. The Congress is taking place at the Royal Tapestry Factory and coincides with the 25th anniversary of the creation of the IRSST by way of Act 253/1997 of 19 November.

The congress was opened yesterday by the Deputy Minister of Labour, Alfredo Timermans, who stressed the importance of promoting and boosting collaboration with institutions and social agents in the fields of occupational safety, health and well-being of workers.

Antonio Cirujano, Director of FREMAP's Prevention Department, participated yesterday, Wednesday, 16 November, in the roundtable on "Silent language. Cultural change"
