Claims

Claims can be submitted:

  • There are official Complaint Forms in all FREMAP Centres.

    Submitted claims are processed and answered directly by the Mutual Society and reported to the Directorate General of Social Security Organisation. Article 99.1 of Legislative Royal Decree 8/2015, of 30 October, which approves the General Law on Social Security.

  • Through FREMAP's Online Claims form.

  • Through the Virtual Claims Office This link will be opened in a pop-up window of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

    An online claims office accessible by the public to manage complaints by workers about how mutual societies handle complaints. The Ministry centralises the claims it receives and sends them to the corresponding mutual society so that this entity can provide a response that, subsequently, the Ministry communicates to the citizen.

Claims are complaints of an administrative nature concerning the service provided by the Mutual Society and are different from legal action claims which are brought before the courts of justice.​​​​​
