The initiative "Diversity Charter - SPAIN" is framed within European Union directives against discrimination and its purpose is to promote diversity inclusion and management practices in Spanish companies and institutions (of all sizes and from all sectors) and public bodies (national, regional and local) as a strategic axis for greater efficiency and competitiveness. Likewise, it seeks to promote the development of research and teaching of this knowledge in the academic world and to promote the exchange of good practices among all social agents.
Companies for a Society Free from Gender-based Violence
FREMAP is associated to the Initiative "Companies for a society free of gender-based violence", and is active in raising awareness and contributing to a society free of gender-based violence.
At FREMAP we are firmly committed to improving society. As a result of this commitment, FREMAP has launched Social Action programmes with a view to channelling the social initiatives of our employees and supporting their efforts in this area.
The aim of the FREMAP Social Action programmes is to promote solidarity with volunteer work with vulnerable children and families. To do this, we have established a collaborative environment where FREMAP employees can discuss and develop their social initiatives.
Every two years, the FREMAP Social Action group organises a Solidarity Projects Competition, in which FREMAP employees can present projects from different non-profit organisations. The 10th edition of the Competition held in 2021 was won by:
- AFYEDALCU
(Association of Families and Patients with Alzheimer's and other Dementias in Cuenca). With the project "I CAN FEEL, I CAN LIVE": Individualised sensorial therapy for Alzheimer's patients or sufferers of other dementias with the installation of a multi-sensory room (snoezelen).
- ASPANDLE
Lepe Association of parents and carers of children and adults with disabilities). With the project: The construction of two in-person treatment rooms or a large room with a central separation, approximately 10-12 m2 of area in a courtyard attached to the existing construction. At least one of these rooms will be installed with a Gesell Chamber.
FREMAP Social Action is largely successful thanks to its solidarity campaigns. With these campaigns, volunteers carry out activities aimed developing and improving their environment in Spain as well as in developing countries.
In accordance with its Purpose, Mission, Vision and Values, FREMAP is committed to maintaining and improving its management model based on continuous improvement and innovation, the key factors of which are excellence in service and excellence in management, within the framework of legislation in force.
